Gliding Programs

Up, up and away

BCMOS offers a gliding program - Easy Gliders - for people with significant physical disabilities, during the summer months. This runs in conjunction with Ontario-based Freedom's Wings.

BCMOS operated Easy Gliders from Pemberton Soaring Centre in 2011 (we previously used Hope Gliding Centre, so please note the address change). Flights were amid majestic snow-capped mountains rising from the lush, green fertile valleys of Whistler and Pemberton - our participants soared above mountain peaks, shimmering glaciers and deep valleys.

Pemberton Soaring Centre is located just off Highway 99 between the Village of Pemberton and Mount Currie First Nations Reserve. Once you turn on the Airport Road follow along past Big Sky Golf Meadows at Pemberton golf courses.

We expect the 2012 flights to be offered between May and August - check back for updates.
